Ocha is the traditional Japanese tea. It is usually green tea and it has a very light and airy taste, while it is not nearly as bitter as others. Most Japanese people have tea numerous times a day, including during meals.
The amount of tea I have drunk since coming to Japan is surprising :) But it is the first time I have loved tea so much!
