Bonding in an Onsen

So, it is about time we got a bit more personal...

An Onsen is a Japanese hot spring. There are many different types, indoor, outdoor, swimsuits, no swimsuits...

Well, after our visit to the Sake brewery we had a bit of time until we had to go back home and someone suggested to visit the Onsen of a nearby hotel.

Being extremely shy and seIf-conscious, I was determined not to go into a steaming pool of water, completely naked with other people. However, after considering that it is a great experience and something very Japanese, I decided to do it. Because what is life if you don't overcome your boundaries?!

I am so grateful for Natasha (she's an ALT in Yosano) and the other girls for giving me courage and making me feel very comfortable.

Needless to say, it was one of the best experiences I've had so far. I think it helped us bond, communicate and understand each other which was a game changer for having a good time together at the trip.

So, when you go to Japan go to an Onsen! It's amazing!!!
